how do I start therapy?

If you’ve never been to therapy, it might be a little intimidating. Here’s a step by step walkthrough of our intake process, so you can know what to expect.

 
 

Follow these three steps to get started

 

Contact

Take your first step to healing by saying hi through our contact form. We ask you a bit about yourself, but it’s designed to be easy to reach out and get started on your healing process.

Within a few days, we’ll get back to you to schedule a free 15-min phone consultation.

Consultation

Consultations by phone help us learn more about you, and your reason for seeking therapy. At this point, we determine if we’d make a good fit to lead you in your healing process. Here we can also answer any questions you may have, too.

From here, we find a time to schedule our first therapy session together. This process usually takes 1.5 weeks, so your insurance or rate can be verified.

Note: At this point, we will send intake paperwork to be completed before our first session together.

Cultivate

While our first and second therapy sessions are mostly dedicated to intake paperwork and general questions - you’ll have gotten through the hardest parts of therapy - starting it.

From here we determine the frequency of your sessions __________
